Dia Lynn Biography / Resume

Dia Lynn is a holistic practitioner with 32 years seniority in Rolf's Structural Integration as the physical-body working foundation of her healing arts practice

During her 35 year career development as a holistic healer, Dia Lynn has trained with five pioneering founders of esteemed traditions. She is certified to practice several other powerful, effective healing modalities that compliment the physical-body work.

Her education was in Occupational Therapy through USC and San Jose State Univ. with a special degree major in the systems of the body related through the connective tissue, and organized by Rolfing. Dia Lynn trained while Dr. Ida Rolf was giving her last Advanced Class in Boulder, Colorado in 1976. She has been in private and group practices in Colorado, Hawaii and California, using the classic series of Basic and Advanced Rolf Structural Integration. Since 1995 she has been affiliated with The Guild for Structural Integration based in Boulder, CO.

From 1989-1991 Dia trained with Dr. Stanislav Grof and his wife Christina Grof and is certified to facilitate private and group sessions of Holotropic Breathwork from the Grof Transpersonal Trainings in Mill Valley CA. She has led groups in Hawaii, Colorado, Prague CZ. and California. She is currently a member of the Association
of Holotropic Breathworkers International.

From 1983 -1987 Dia studied extensively with naturopathic doctor, Dr. John Whitman Ray and taught in his Body Electronics Trainings in Maui, Hawaii. She learned Iridolology and nutritional counseling through the Ray Program. She also took classes from famed iridiology author Bernard Jensen D.C.

Since 1997 Dia has been studying and applying the principles of Aromatherapy under the teachings of Dr. Gary Young. She exclusively uses Young Living Essential Oil therapeutic grade products in her practice. They use essences of the natural environment to heal.

After relocating to California, Dia studied Medical QiGong under Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, DMQ and the International Institute of Medical Qigong. In 2000 she received her master's of Medical QiGong degree and sponsored Qigong clinincs in Carmel and Monterey. She teaches small classes and does private healing sesions. She was made instructor of Western Anatomy and Physiology and has taught for beginning students.

Also in California, Dia Lynn began attending classes at Pacific Coast Church for Religious Science in Pacific Grove. She completed a 3 year course of Science of Mind Practitioners in 2007 with Rev. Dr. Bill Little and is currently completing the internship as a Religious Science Minister.. She is completing a master's program with Emerson Institute and will teach for new thought churches and schools of healing arts.

Dia has also co-founded and directed two holistic healing centers: Center of Balance in Carbondale and Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 1993 and later Equilibrium Center
For Integrative Bodywork in Monterey, California. When that facility completed its lease in Spring 2008, Dia Lynn chose the term Equilibrium-Bodywork to describe the unique synthesis of bodywork and integrative healing modalities that only she can offer.
